Founders Max Kovalev and Sergey Kuyan started King County Decks after years in custom residential construction through MJK Construction. They saw too many outdoor projects treated as an afterthought: decks that sagged, railings that failed inspection, and contractors who left homeowners guessing.
So they brought the same structural standards, material knowledge, permitting discipline, and project care to the outside of the home. Today, that means a team that shows up prepared, communicates clearly, and stands behind the finished work.
